Method of Evaluation: Direct observation by PEM faculty and fellows during interactions with families; patients; and health care team; observation of student in communication with families and patients; ability to handle conflicts;and patient confidentiality

Educational Objectives: Hone the student's history and physical exam skills. Improve the student's differential diagnosis skills. Improve the student's procedural skills.

Method of Evaluation: Direct clinical observation

Educational Objectives: Broaden the student's medical knowledge base. Improve the student's clinical problem-solving.
